Printing

Scenario 1: I've registered as a new user, but cannot print instruments.
Cause: The VGF print client may not be installed on your computer.
Solution: To verify if our print client is installed please follow these steps:

1. In Windows, click Start, Settings, Control Panel.
2. Double Click the Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. In the window that appears check for a program called VGFPrint.

If the program does not appear in the list please click HERE
to download and install.

Scenario 2: Instruments were printing normally and suddenly stopped.
Cause: The Temporary Internet Files folder has become too full.
Solution: Delete the contents of your Temporary Internet File folder. Please follow these steps to clear your Temporary Internet File Folder in Internet Explorer:

1. With Internet Explorer open, click Tools, Internet Options.
2. In the window that appears click on the Delete Files button.
3. Click the OK button at the next window. (If the folder is full it could take several minutes to delete its contents.)
4. Click the OK button at the bottom of the original window.

Scenario 3: When using a Macintosh computer instruments will not print.
Cause: The VGF print client is not compatible with Macintosh based computers. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope in the future to be able to extend our print client's capabilities.

Login

Scenario 1: When logging in the site returns me directly back to the login screen.
Cause: Your cookie security level is set too high.
Solution: Lower your cookie security level. To do this in Internet Explorer please follow the following steps:

1. With Internet Explorer open, click Tools, Internet Options.
2. In the window that appears click on the Privacy tab.
3. Move the slider to Medium
4. Click the OK button and exit the window.

Other

Scenario 1: When buying tokens the purchase form rejects the expiration date that has been entered.
Solution: Enter your expiration date in the format MMYYYY.
